During 2023, a working group of specialists from the State Archives of Chernivtsi Region collected and deposited 33 items of materials related to the first days of Russia’s open military attack on Ukraine, which began on 24 February 2022. The collection includes: appeals of the state authorities to the people of Ukraine; temporary relocation of foreign embassies to Chernivtsi; forced migration of the population across the state border that runs through the territory of Chernivtsi region; official documents of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration (military state administration) on the introduction of curfew and the legal regime of martial law.
