The project features the personal experience of war and migration, and shows how Ukrainians live and resist during the war and what gives them strength and hope.
It is a multimedia project created at the intersection of different genres: documentary, fiction, and conceptual. Women who have survived the trauma of war unite and act to help the frontline by weaving camouflage products. These are real people, residents of the village of Horenka, Kyiv Oblast. In March 2022, the village was on the frontline and 80% of it was destroyed.
These events brought severe trauma to the locals. The liberation of the Kyiv Oblast gave an impulse to the reconstruction of the village and the restoration of social ties, but the war continues.
The women have different professions, social statuses, and ages, and there are also IDPs from other regions of Ukraine, but all are united by a desire to help the front.
