The study used the in-depth interview method and the approach of person-centered ethnography to collect information about people’s subjective experiences, feelings, and opinions. As part of the project, 31 interviews were conducted with people of different genders aged from 19 to 63 about their experiences of war since February 24, 2022. The audiovisual experience of war is an open, changing, and subjective entity. Therefore, the study aimed to cover different types and aspects of experience. Interviews were conducted with those who lived in the occupied territories, stayed in the same city for the entire period, and traveled to other regions of Ukraine or abroad. Accordingly, the geographical scope of the study covers various oblasts in Ukraine (Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytsky, Chernivtsi) and cities in Poland, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands.
