“For Our Boys and Girls”: The Stories of Volunteers in Ukraine

The collected materials include 15 interviews with members of volunteer civil society organizations that started their activities in 2014 and 2022. The interviews were conducted and recorded using the in-depth interview method, during which the respondents analyzed their motivation and path to volunteering, the first days of activity and later periods, as well as how volunteering affected (and still affects) their daily lives. They also tried to reflect and answer questions about the end or transformation of their volunteer activities in the future.
