Adaptation, acquiring new important skills, changing the environment, uniting against a common enemy, acceptance—these are the things that surround us and have been happening for a year and a half of our struggle. The war is everywhere, it is ultimate, the war penetrates all spheres of life, allowing us to adapt and get used to real, violent events. In the project, I talk about and show my interpretation of everyday life in my hometowns of Kyiv and Chernihiv. Every week, I see adults continuing to work, students studying, and children playing light-heartedly. There is a longing for a life where there are holidays, plans for the future, stability, and care for each other. Life goes on even under the whistle of bullets. One of the main themes of the search is also the changing urban landscape, and its constant transformation. A car cemetery becomes a memorial to Russian crimes, and a crop field near Chernihiv turns into a place for military funerals.
