I am considering the hypothesis that in the context of Russian military aggression, the phenomenon of educational collaborationism has emerged in the occupied territories. In my opinion, it can be understood as voluntary or forced cooperation with the occupying administration of Ukrainian specialists professionally involved in the organization and functioning of education and training systems within the institutional activities of educational institutions of various types.
The geography of my research concerns the territories of Ukraine that after the full-scale Russian invasion on February 24, 2022 were or continue to be under temporary occupation (Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv oblasts). In the future, I plan to analyze the manifestations of educational collaborationism in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk oblasts which have been under temporary occupation since 2014.
